Our mission at International Buckskin
Horse Association is to record and preserve the pedigree of Buckskin,
Dun, Red Dun, and Grulla horses registered with the Association while
maintaining the integrity of the Association.
To provide beneficial services for its members which enhance and
encourage ownership of IBHA registered horses and participation in the
Association.
To improve the well-being of IBHA horses by establishing safe &
humane rules and enforcing such rules.
To generate growth of IBHA membership
throughout the promotion,
advertising and publicity of the Association.
The International Buckskin Horse Association has a
strong leadership role in the Color Breed Council; is a member body of
the American Youth Horse Council is a supporting member of the United
States Equestrian Team and a sponsor of Breed Awards for the United
States Dressage Foundation.
As
part of the equine marketing alliance with American
Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), IBHA sponsors
separate special trophies annually to the high point
AQHA horses that are registered in IBHA. These
awards are presented at the AQHA convention.

Annual National Convention
Each year IBHA holds a National Convention to
address the Business of the Association holding many Educational
Seminars & Meetings most of which are open to attendees. In
conjunction with the Convention Meetings is a Yearly Banquet to Award
the Honor Rolls, Reserve Honor Rolls, any Supreme and Superior Awards
earned since the World Show.
